Assiva offers whois protection on all domains purchased directly from us.

Whois protection, as the name suggests, will obscure your data from the view of others. This is done for several reasons:

• To protect your private information
• To stop the farming of your email address, limiting spam

The whois report will list the details of a special company that will handle any correspondance on your behalf. If they recieve an email directed to you, it may be forwarded onto you for example.

However, it is an offence to list in any whois record anything that is false. So although the whois record will be obscured from view, it is imperative that the information we collect is correct. Failure to do so may result in your loosing your domain.
